Today Bill and I were volunteers at Macy’s first FIELD DAY at school! Both of us remember loving field day as kids and were happy to get to see Macy in action at her very first one! This year’s field day was literacy based … all the games somehow tied into books. We were in charge of the Winnie the Pooh water game. Yes, I said a water game! I guess that the newbie kindergarten parents get stuck with the water games every year! It turned out to be a lot of fun! It was the perfect weather – mid to upper 70s and slightly overcast. Not too hot, not too windy!
We had a great time … and managed to stay dry! :)
