There’s something about this shot that I just love. Maybe it’s that it’s a little blurry. Maybe it’s that I can feel Macy and Ashton’s excitement just before they rounded the corner. Maybe it’s that I’m a proud mama of these tiny dancers.Maybe it’s all of that.
Macy and Ashton’s third dance recital was tonight. And for the first time, they did two dances … a jazz dance and a ballet dance. They were superstars. They were proud of themselves. And so were their mommies, daddies, and sissies.
I snapped this picture after Erin and I picked the girls up backstage. They knew Bill and Bobby were waiting around the corner to congratulate them. They were so excited to see their daddies … they ran around that corner and jumped straight into their arms. And all I could do was smile through my teary eyes. :)
So, so, SO much more to come on this big night…
