From February 15th - March 15th Macy has to observe the pattern of the moon and record it every night on a special calendar that her teacher provided. She has to stand in the same spot at around the same time each and every night FOR A MONTH. Somehow our neighbor's driveway became the spot. well hum...1st sounds like a neat IDEA...2nd in practice it seems like an burden on a family.
So let's hope you all enjoy it and don't miss a night...heaven forbid you have an activity that keeps you away or out too late.

oh how I remember teaching that unit and I remember the calendar homework...sorry friend but in the end it will be pretty neat for MG. And besides you got a pretty cool and cute pic out of it and this assignment provided a 365 topic.
