Every year, Apple Creek hosts a school picnic and silent auction. Each classroom is responsible for putting together an auction basket, which is solely donated by the parents. I've been room parent for 5 years now and have never had a problem getting donations. This year was different. As of last Wednesday, we only had 3. Literally, 3 donations total. My co-room parent and I were worried to put it mildly, but our class totally rallied and pulled it out! And I have to say, I think that our class basket is the very best one! The theme is
South of the Border, and it includes everything you need for a Mexican fiesta at home ... OR ... out to dinner at Cristina's {one of my fave Mexican places}! Annnnnddddddd, the grand total for the value of our basket came to a whopping
$410!!! I can hardly believe it! Can't wait to see how much moolah it brings in for the school at the picnic in a few weeks! :)

NIIIIICCE! I am glad the rents in Carly's class came through for yall and I must agree that this is a very good idea for a basket.
It turned out great!
That basket is right up my alley!
(And I'm lovin' the Cuervo Gold over there to the side!)
