In addition to Macy's usual Monday night spelling homework, we had to wrap a shoe box lid with the wrapping paper of her choice. Based on my big girl's explanation, I'm not exactly sure what this box will be used for. It was something about it being "a friendship box, where you get items and write your friend's names on them to remind you of them." Huh? You don't say, Macy Gwynne?
I'll have to get back to you on the exact meaning of that. But. I sure do think that her box turned out cute. I had the striped Stride Rite box, and she ironically chose this matching polka dot wrapping paper for the lid. It's nice when it all comes together like that ... you know, even if I don't totally understand what a friendship box is! :)
