Last night, Bill and I noticed that Sadie has a pretty nasty cut in her mouth. She and Tally got in a fight last weekend over a bone, but we didn't realize that Sadie was hurt until last night. Her cheek was pertty puffed up, and upon investigation we discovered this giant yucky cut on the inside of her cheek! When I woke up this morning, Sadie's whole right side of her face was super swollen, so I knew we needed to make a trip to the vet! So, the girls, Sadie the Say-Say Leonard, and I headed out bright and early to get our pup all fixed up!
The doctor said that she will be just fine, and gave her two perscriptions ... one anti-inflammatory/pain pill and an antibiotic to get rid of the infection ... which together cost a whopping $80. Eek! It's worth it because the swelling is already going down, and Sadie seems to be feeling more like her old self!
There's just never a dull moment with home ownership, or kids, or pets...is there?! :)
