We got Macy some flash cards this weekend. Her teacher told us at her conference a few weeks ago that she's encouraging everyone in the class to try to increase their speed with addition and subtraction facts by practicing with flash cards! So, when we spotted these packs of 86 on Saturday, we snatched them up! And mercy...you woulda thought we struck gold with how excited MG was! She's totally loving doing these flash cards! :) Kids are a hoot, huh?!
{Oh, and my new display of gourds is behind Macy's "gold"...I like this MUCH better than the hurricane! Thanks again for the advice!}

yep...we started those last year and we are still doing them...we are about to move on the m and d words....I just can't bring myself to type it!

That's awesome that she loves flash cards! I always hated them as a child. I'll bet her teacher loves her!
I loved flash cards when I was a kid too! I keep saying we need to get Lainey some... she's become slightly frustrated with some of the add/subt facts!
